Puppy Bitch Class: 3rd Place Delaforce Just Imagine (Lotto) Graded Very Promising (Handled by Steve Crozier); 5th Place Delaforce Jump The Far Q (Arkie) Graded Very Promising (Handled by Tina Sunman). The sisters turn it around (Steve and Tina one all!) The judge's comment about this class - 'This is a cracker of a class.'
Intermediate Bitch Class: 5th Place Volscain Quandra (Mille) Graded Very Good (handled superbly by Tina Sunman - pulled out second last and moving up to 5th place  with the judge's on the pegs comments that the first 6 were a 'CUT ABOVE THE REST'

Greyhound Judging - Mrs Cathy Delmar (Ireland) - Ch Elwick Summer Love (V) 1st Open Bitch, Reserve Challenge; RUNNER UP BEST OF BREED. This year Poppy was handled beautifully by our son Graham and he did an excellent job.  (Poppy looked absolutely correct on the stack no flat top lines showing the correct curve over the loin (pictured below) but was naughtly on the gait - she just doesn;t like running on a tight lead)

23rd August 2008: Collie Club of Sth Aust Inc (All Breeds) Championship Show - Judge Mr. J. Black (Vic); Delaforce Kings N Aces (Barry) handled by Tina Sunman in his first show at just 4 months is Best Baby of Breed

August 2008: Fred Lumsden & OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET achieved their 3rd and final pass for their  Utility Dog Excellent (UDX) title

6th July 2008 - OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET obtains her second UDX pass

22nd June 2008: Adelaide Plains Kennel & Obedience Club Inc: Open Show (am) and Ch Elwick Summer Love (V)  Poppy is back in the show ring after recovering from bloat. Under Judge Mrs J Butterfield she is awarded Runner Up in Group and then goes onto be Australian Bred in Show

7th June 2008 - Spencer Gulf Obedience Dog Club Inc (Obedience & Agiltiy Trials):  Judge Mr. L Kuipers - Class: Utility Excellent - First Place - Fred Lumsden & OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET (Multi Excellent Obedience) Score - 191/200 (First Leg of their UDX title) Well done & Congratulations!! Also competing in the Open Class under the same judge Fred & Hokey score 193/200 and are 2nd place in the class

4th May, 2008 - The 36th National German Shepherd Dog Show and Restricted Obedience Trial: Bitch Judge Herr Hans-Peter Fetten SV (Gmy)

Open Bitch - Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ (Keno) 22nd Excellent from 53 exhibits. 

Keno was handled in the specialist ring for only the second time (and a National at that) by Miss Tina Sunman, called out in the 3rd group with Tina's gentle and excellent handling they were moved up into the 2nd group and then again into the top group eventually finishing in 22nd place. having been moved also in the top group.  The pair never got a rest they just kept it together and just kept going and going.  What a performance from some so young. The judge Herr Fetten made comment over the microphone of Tina and  Joy Ann Scott from Queensland on their handling skills and their rapport with the dogs.

Over the 3 days of the GSD National, Tina at only  just 14 yrs of age handled 3 of our dogs and did a remarkable job considering this was only her second specialist show.  She handled all 3 (a baby, a junior and an open bitch) from beginning to end, (individual and class judging) and caught the eye of several spectators who were cheering the girls on and took the time to congratulate her on her handling.   Tina is now very keen and looking forward to her next specialist show.  There was one very proud mother sitting ring side, along with some very proud owners. 

Tina also competed in the Junior Handlers 12 - 16 yr  with a baby puppy bitch  the youngest dog in the class and did an excellent job with a partially trained and sometimes difficult dog.   Tina always up for a challenge!

3rd May, 2008 - The 36th National German Shepherd Dog Show and Restrictied Obedience Trial: Open Judge (Obedience) Mr Brian Fielder 

•  Fred Lumsden & OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET (Hokey) 1st place scoring 191/200 achieving another obedience excellent.  With this fabulous score Fred & Hokey were in the Winner of Winners run off with them being the eventual    *** Silver Medal Winner ***   at the 36th National German Shepherd Dog Show and Restricted Trial.

 Paige handled MIlle & Qanto's dad *Karlos vd Werther Muhle (Imp Gmy) a ED H-neg to the ** BRONZE MEDAL ** in the Open Dog Class - CONGRATULATIONS Karlos & Paige on your placing and to Neil & Maureen of Volscain Kennels he was a delight to watch and Paige (at 15 yrs) did you all very proud with her very mature and astute handling.  (Go the Young ones) 

27th April 2008:- German Shepherd Dog Club of SA Inc - Members Competition: Judge Mrs N Farley (UK): Baby Puppy Bitch Delaforce Jump the Far Q (Arkie)  2nd Place graded Very Promising, Delaforce Just Imagine (Lotto) 7th Place graded Very Promising; Volscain Quandra (Mille) 3rd Place Junior Bitch Graded Very Good.  A very interesting show to watch!!  Very Good one week - EXCELLENT THE NEXT!!!!

25th April 2008: Delaforce Im No Angel A Z (Onja) delivers her first litter.  Sire Ch *Kwint vom Juerikstall (Imp Ndl) a ED H-neg VA.   6 beautiful babies - 1 female and 5 males.

12th April 2008:- Para Districts Obedience Dog Club Inc Obedience Trial:  Judge Mr B Fielder Class Open A OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET (Hokey) and Fred 1st Place 189/200

5th April 2008:- Southern Districts Kennel & Obedience Club Inc Obedience Trial ; Judge Mrs A Rumble Class Open A OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET and Fred Lumsden 3rd place 189/200

4th April 2008:- Volscain Quandra (Mille) and Voscain Qanto (Qanto) both attain their A and Z  stamps with very good scores under the guidelines of the GSDCof Australia hip and elbow schemes. Both obtained the scores of (1:1) for their hips and (0:0) for their elbows

23rd March 2008:- Port Pirie Kennel Club Inc: Judge Mrs S Barrett (New Zealand) : Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ is Challenge Bitch: Runner Up Best Of Breed and Australian Bred of Breed.  This is Keno's first show since her puppies in November 2007 and she is still very much lacking in coat. No bad for a bald lady.  Her babies also had a run in the ring for a first (Lotto) and a second (Arkie) time but were up against babies at least 1 and nearly 2 months older than them.

22nd & 23rd March 2008:- Blue Lake Obedience Dog Club Inc Obedience Trials: Judge Mr K Milington  Class Open  2nd Place  OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET and Fred Lumsden with a score of 194/200, the next day Judge Mrs K Millinton Class Open 1st Place OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET and Fred Lumsden score 195/200 

16th March 2008:- All Breeds Dog Club of S.A. Inc: Judge Mrs L Harris (SA): Delaforce Jump The Far Q (Arkie) is 2nd place Baby Puppy Bitch 3 in the class (her first All Breeds show the youngest in the class and the little munchkin is in between 2 older babies). Volscain Quandra (Mille) is Aust Bred of Breed, Challenge Bitch; BEST OF BREED. Volscain Qanto is Reserve Challenge Dog.

9th March 2008:- 2008 Advance Autumn International : GSD Specialist Judge: Mr John Fenner (WA) Baby Puppy Bitch: Delaforce Jump The Far Q (Arkie) is 7th place graded Very Promising: Delaforce Jut Imagine (Lotto) is 9th place graded Very Promising.  Junior Bitch: Volscain Quandra (Mille) is 10th place Graded Very Good. The second youngest in their respective classes.

8th March 2008: - 2008 Advance Autumn International : GSD Speciaist Judge: Herr Norbet Wettlaufer (SV Germany): Baby Puppy Bitch: Delaforce Jump the Far Q (Arkie) (@ 3 and half mths is 6th place graded Very Promising); her sister Delaforce Just Imagine (Lotto) is 10th place graded Very Promising (these girls were the second youngest in the class.)  Junior Bitch:  Volscain Quandra  is 9th place in a class of 14 graded Very Good.  Junior Dog: Judge Mr John Fenner (WA); Volscain Qanto is 7th place graded Very Good.  Quandra (Mille) and Qanto where also the second youngest in their classes.

Volscain Qanto (proudly owned in partnership with Johm & Marie Rice)  
finishes in 22 place in the top 50 GSD; results taken from only 2 shows and at only 8 mths of age. 
He is the 3rd place South Australian  GSD  behind the 2 Vonpeta girls.

Qanto finishes in 14th place; the highest placed South Australian puppy.

15th September 2007:  Ian is presented with his certificate from the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia at the MBE in Adelaide, stating he has now completed his GSD extension course and is now a qualified Specialist GSD Judge.

2nd September 2007: Canine Fanciers Kennel Club (Inc) Championship Show - Group 4 - Hounds - Judge Mrs T McDonald (Qld);   Ch Elwick Summer Love (Poppy) 1st Open Bitch, Reserve Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed.  Group 5 - Working  Dogs - Judge - Mr J Birch (NSW);  Volscain Qanto (Qanto) - 1st Puppy Dog, Best of Breed, Puppy in Group, RUNNER UP IN GROUP (aged  6 & 1/2 months).   Volscain Quandra (Mille) 1st Minor Puppy Bitch, Minor of Breed, and Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny (Keno)  2nd Aust Bred Bitch.

25th August 2007: S.A.C.A. Obedience Advisory Committee held the State Obedience Championship, competing in the Utility Class was  Fred Lumsden and OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET who under Judge Mr Des Coyles finished in second place. Congratulations Fred & Hokey

19th August 2007: Riverland Obedience & Kennel Club Inc Obedience Trial; Open Class - Judge Mr. K Millington, 2nd Place - Fred Lumsden & OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET (Hokey) with a score of 193/200 (Second on a countback). And at the same trial in the Utility Class; Judge Mr N MacDonald Fred & Hockey are 1st place with a score of 187/200.

18th August 2007: The Broken Hill German Shepherd Dog Club Inc (NSW) Championship Show - Judge Mr. Peter Flynn (Vic).  Minor Puppy Dog - Volscain Qanto 5th Place graded Very Prominsing (Initially pulled out third but needs more ring experience).  Minor Puppy Bitch  - Volscain Quandra 5th place graded Very Prominsing. Mille actually moved up places on the gait. 

5th August 2007: German Shepherd Dog Club of SA Inc - Balmead Obedience Trial .  Open Class; Judge Mr B Fielder  - OC Delaforce Hocus Pocus ET and Fred Lumsden (Hokey & Fred) score 189/200 and finish in First Place. Then on the same day compete in Utility under judge Mr N MacDonald and score 185/200 finishing in First Place.

22nd July 2007: Adelaide Districts Working Dog Club Inc - Championship Show - Judge Mrs W Fancote.  Baby Pupy Dog - Volscain Qanto, - 1st place, State Bred Dog - *Delaforce Godfather AZ - 1st place, Intermediate Bitch - Delaforce Im No Angel AZ  - 3rd place, Aust Bred Bitch & Aust Bred of Breed Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny - well handled for the first time by Tina Sunman.

8th April 2007: 35th National German Shepherd Championship  Show & Restricted Obedience Trial - Sydney NSW. Open Bitch, Judge Herr R Mai (SV - Germany)  - Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ places 15th out of 41 entries. Graded Excellent. 

7th April 2007:  Delaforce Kennels receives the  GSDCA BRONZE MEDALION  at the 35th National German Shepherd Championship Show & Restricted Obedience Trial for successfully presenting 10 animals to the Hip Scheme. (10 animals presented with 10 passes)   

6th April 2007: 35th National German Shepherd Championship Show & Restricted Obedience Trial - Sydney NSW. Junior Bitch, Judge Herr R Mai (SV - Germany) - Delaforce Im No Angel AZ  places 25th out of 35 graded Very Good.  Junior Dog, Judge Herr R Brauch (SV - Germany) - Delaforce Iflooxcouldkil AZ places 22nd graded Good.

2005/2006 GSDC of SA Inc - Rhosyn pointscore for Conformation - *Ch Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ finishes in 4th spot.  We are very pleased with these results as Keno could not be exhibited in at least 3 of the shows because Ian was either the judge or judging at the show.

 11/11/06  GSDC of SA Inc Open Show - Judge Mrs. G Mitchell. 2 entered Delaforce Im No Angel in Junior Bitch for the first time and THE YOUNGEST in the class - just 9 days into the class and Onja is placed 2nd in a class of 5.  The winner of the class was 5 months older that Onja.  The judges comment after the class; "that girl of yours can really move!!" *Ch sagenhaft Moneypenny finished 4th.  The judges comment about this class - "a very good quality class."  

30/10/06  Vinnies first litter has arrived;  Dam is *Denargun Shenanigan A Z BSCL:1. This litter is line bred on *Vasall von Kirschental (Gny) a CDX; *Ch Denargun Flying Colours and *Ch Denargun Charisma.  Thanks to Anna & Tony of Tonaker Kennels for giving the boy a chance.

08/10/06  Southern Agricultural Society, Judge; Mr R. Redhead - Aust Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny is Best of Breed and is run for the In Group, Delaforce Im No Angel is Puppy of Breed and *Delaforce Godfather AZ H-neg is Reserve Challenge Dog and Australian Bred in Group. 

07/09/06 -  Royal Adelaide Show, Aust Champion Elwick Summer Love (Poppy) is awarded Best of Breed from the Intermediate Class.    A year apart and  Poppy does it AGAIN!    Another first for Poppy. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

04/09/06 -  Royal Adelaide Show GSD day, we ended up taking *Delaforce Godfather AZ (Vinnie) who finished a credible 3rd out of 7, Delaforce Im No Angel (Onja) the pocket dynamo  (alias destructo) who finished 2nd out of 11 in a lovely puppy bitch class (she was leading the class until she was a little naughty) & Aust Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ who finished 2nd out of 8 to the eventual  R.U. BOB.

20/08/06 Riverland Obedience & Kennel Club Inc Fred & Hokey (Delaforce Hocus Pocus) achieved their FINAL qualifying pass for their AUSTRALIAN OBEDIENCE CHAMPION TITLE - Congratulations to a wonderful team.  Thankyou Fred for all the hard work you have put in. 

06/08/06: German Shepherd Dog Club of SA Inc; Judge Mr Dave Rumble; Class Utility - Fred & Hokey score 194/200 and another Excellent Grading this time in Utility. Fred & Hokey have 3 obedience excellents. To finish the day Delaforce Hocus Pocus UD ET  (Hokey) was highest scoring pedigree GSD in trial.  

30/07/06  Fred & Hokey do it again, Gawler Dog Training Club Inc, this time under an overseas judge Mrs. S Sellers-Rose (USA) and the pair achieve the score of 196/200 in the Utility Class . 

29th & 30th July, 2006 Marion Kennel Club; Delaforce Iflooxcouldkil (Maky) &  Delaforce Im No Angel (Onja) 1st place Puppy Dog & Bitch both days with Maky being Puppy of Breed over his sister.  *Delaforce Godfather A Z H-Neg BSCL: 1 (Vinnie) shown on the 30th is 1st place Aust Bred Dog. 

24/06/06 Fred Lumsden & Delaforce Hocus Pocus UD passed the Endurance Trial held at the GSDC of SA  Hokey is now Delaforce Hocus Pocus UD ET, let the magic continue!  

11/06/06 - 58th GSDC of SA Inc Championship Show: Dog Judge Herr Leonhard Schweikert (SV) Germany. Bitch Judge Ms Friedel Gehring (New South Wales).  The weekend only got better.  First time in Minor Puppy Dog and our grey boy Delaforce Iflooxcouldkil (Maky) is called out second and finishes third in a class of 8.   Herr Schweikert's on the pegs comments; "an expressive and harmonious dog."  Graded Very Promising.     Aust. Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ is called out fourth Open Bitch and finishes third, behind the stunning *Ch Iccara Vegas Showoff and *Stunadel Olympia.  Judge Ms Gehring on the pegs  comments "a bitch with a good future ahead of her."  Graded Excellent 3.   To top off the weekend  Fred Lumsden and Delaforce Hocus Pocus UD (Hokey) competing in the obedience finished third in Open Bitch on a count back with a score of 192/200.  This is Fred and Hokey's second OBEDIENCE EXCELLENT.  Fred next time it might be the Utility Ring 

10/06/06 - 57th GSDC of SA Inc Championship Show, Bitch Judge: Herr Leonhard Schweikert (SV) Germany.  First time in Minor Puppy Bitch and our little grey girl, Delaforce Im No Angel (Onja) is called out second and finishes 2nd in a class of 10.  Graded Very promising.  Aust Ch *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ is Excellent 19 in a class of 26 exhibits.  

22/04/06 - Members Competition at the GSDC of SA Inc, judge Mrs Jean Butterfield (SA) (Alimanda Kennels) *Delaforce Godfather AZ H-Neg BSCL: 1 first time in Open Dog is Graded Excellent 4.  *Ch Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ BSCL:1 is Excellent 2. Thanks Serena for doing a great job with our adults and taking good care of them, good handlers such as yourself are hard to come by and we really do appreciate your help.

A special surprise on the day was a visit from an old friend David and his family along with Delaforce Boston 12 yrs of age.  Boston you look great for age,  you have a great home and a great mate in David, who has taken extra special care of you.   This is all we ask of people who purchase our dogs.   Boston is the brother of *Delaforce Bel Espirit AZ ET  (Brittany)  

26/02/06  Our boy Delaforce Godfather goes to breed survey & is classified : -

2006 - Ian has now started on his Specialist German Shepherd Dog Judging Extension course, through the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia.

2004/2005 GSDC of SA Inc. - Rhosyn Point Score winner for Top Showing GSD Bitch in South Australia awarded to - 

        Australian Champion *Sagenhaft Moneypenny A Z BSCL:1 Multi Excellent

Australian Champion *Sagenhaft Moneypenny A Z Multi Ex. qualifies for the Geoff Wightman  Top Parade & Open Show dog of the Year Final Competition for 2005. She was 3rd highest qualifier  in Group 5 behind the Rough Coat Collie and the Australian Shepherd. This is 2 years in a row for this stunning young girl, we are very proud of her.  In 2004, KENO is the winner of Group 5 for the Geoff Wightman Top Parade & Open Show Dog of the Year Final  under judge Mrs S Rickard.  She qualified 2nd in Group 5, was the youngest of the 7 finalist and one of 2 non champions at that time to make the final 7, way to go.  (Pictured below)

18/12/05  Canine Fanciers Kennel Club; Keno is Challenge Bitch receiving a 14 point challenge which gives her, her Australian Champion Title. Thanks to all the judges who have given her the nod. Many thanks to those who have supported us through this last year, your sincere congratulations are greatly appreciated.

10/12/05  *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ (Keno) second time in the Open class under breed specialist judge Mr S Collins (Sth Aust) and she is awarded 2nd place & Excellent 2.  She then went on to be Reserve Challenge Bitch.  Gray you did another great job and you direct you double handlers so well, always getting us in the right spot at the right time.   The judge had a long talk to Graham in the ring at the completion of judging and stated had she been in full coat she may have just pipped the winning bitch.  

12/11/05  - At the German Shepherd Dog Club of SA Inc Championship Show and restricted Trial -  Delaforce Hocus Pocus UD (Hokey) is First Place Open with a score of 197/200.  This gives Hokey her first Obedience Excellent Award and a second for Fred.    The team also went on to achieve the award of  WINNER OF WINNERS!  CONGRATULATIONS FRED LUMSDEN & HOKEY.

12/11/05 *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ (Keno) is in Open Class (Conformation) for the first time under breed specialist judge Mrs Janice Saltiel (New Zealand) and she is awarded 2nd place & Excellent second.  She then went on to be Reserve Challenge Bitch.  Graham you did a great job, thanks.  What a day for Delaforce GSD Kennels.

22/10/05 A HUGE congratulations to the team of  Fred Lumsden & Delaforce Hocus Pocus (Hokey) on attaining their final pass to give them the title of  Utility Dog.  Only last year 2004 did the pair achieve CD and now before the 2005 trialling year is over, they have attained CDX & UD. Fred you nearly got there with Kari and have gone that step further with Hokey.  You make DELAFORCE PROUD, our first UD animal.  THANKYOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND EFFORT.  Of note: both of Fred's girls pedigrees contain the sound working lines of Alk von Domenica (Gmy) a Z VA .

16/10/05 *Sagenhaft Moneypenny AZ (Keno) is now Breed Survey Class 1.  Surveyor Mrs. J Neddermyer.   One of her comments, an EXCELLENT SHEPHERD TYPE, what we are all looking for in the breed.  (Thanks to the breeders for allowing us to purchase this girl)  Now we are over all the hurdles - let the fun continue.   This stunning young bitch comes from a very sound mother line that includes the lines of Iwan von Lechtal, Dorsten Monte Cito, Quincito Awol and the stunning Denargun Flying Colours.

10/09/05  Aust Ch Elwick Summer Love (V) (Poppy) is short listed in the final 8 of Group 4 at the  2005 Royal Adelaide Show under Canadian Judge Mr. Fred Peddie.  What a thrill for us!  What a birthday present for Poppy (2yrs) & Marilyn (?? yrs.)  I take this opportunity to thank all those people who offered their very good wishes on the days we were at the Royal.  I don't think I will have another birthday like it!
 

07/09/05 Delaforce Godfather AZ (Vinnie) is back in the Championship Show Ring after a 12 mth lay off and is placed 3rd Open Dog out of 7 at the 2005 Royal Adelaide Agricultural & Horticultural Show, not bad for a boy who does not like the show ring.  Thanks Graham.  Vinnie really enjoyed his pat from steward Marie Lowden while waitng for the class to be judged.
