I remember the day Ian collected you from the airport after a 12 month wait.  I remember my first words to Ian when I saw you, "What have we done?" there sharing the trailer with our home bred long haired puppy was a long legged skinny looking pup.  I remember saying, "I think we'll keep the long coat."  Well you proved me very wrong and moved straight into my heart next to Delta.  Zee you were rather special!  Our kong crazy girl.

That in itself is another story! 

Zee's survey:

General description: A large, medium strong well constructed bitch of very good type.  High withers, slight dip behind,slightly steep croup.  Very good fore and hindquarter angulations.  stands correct in front with balanced chest proportions.  Good head, good eye colour and good placement of ears.  Steps correct both front and rear with good firmness of the hock joints, the elbows however should be a little closer laid. During movement shows very good far reaching even gait with very good wither placement and very good topline.  Her temperament is firm, natural and good natured 

Particular Virtures and faults: A bitch which stands on the top limit of size but is very well constructed, of very good type and is presented in a very good firm and dry condition.  She could carry her ears a little firmer during movement.  Unfortunately due to her height (61cms) she is unable to achieve a higher classification but otherwise a VERY GOOD specimen of the breed. (NB -61cms is now accepted as a Class 1 classification)

(South Australian Canine Association Award; 2nd highest obedience trialling dog in SA)

There average score for the years trialling in both Open and Utility class was 187/200.  If Fred & Hokey were going for their Obedience Champion Title they would have achieved it easily.  In reality they are an obedience champion at least three (3) times over.

August 2008 - Fred & Hokey achieve the third and final pass required for their UDX (Utility Dog Excellent) title.  The first GSD in South Australia to achieve this title
