Australian & International Judges Breed Survey Class 1- Surveyor; Mrs J M Neddermeyer Desc: Genuine 61cms Pigment: strong Colour: black/tan V/large medium strong well proportioned expressive bitch of v/good type & overall harmonious construction. High wither firm back well moulded croup which ideally could be a fraction longer. The upper arm while of good length could be slightly better angled v/good hindquarter angulation. Stands correct in front. V/good chest proportions. V/good head & expression v/good eye colour & ear carriage. Steps correct both front & rear with v/good firmness of joints. During movement shows good ground covering gait with v/good back transmission, strong hindquarter drive however ideally the forehand reach could be a little freer. Character & temperament firm lively & good natured. Virtures/Faults:a bitch standing at the top limit of size today presented in absolutely top condition. She is firm & dry & of absolute correct type. She impresses with her overall very good anatomical construction & harmony. Surveyor's comments over the microphone, a bitch of excellent shepherd type, what we are all looking for in the breed.
